Dumplings - Looks easy - smash, stuff, squeeze, steam and eat. Are those breakfast dumplings (you know, kind of like breakfast tacos)? Pineapple - that takes skill... easy to lose a finger doing that. See ya soon!
the nonstop news coverage here following Michael Jackson's death says that there are memorials popping up ALL over the WORLD. See any in Shanghai? How about some photos?
I havn't seen any big memorials yet. We were at a restaurant the other day and they played two MJ songs in succession... that's about it. "That doggone girl is mine" and the extended 10minute version of Thriller I believe.
So I was right that Shanghai is all about the dumplings it seems. Also, I'm sorry that lady took half of your pineapple before she gave it to you. I hope you didn't have to pay full price for that no matter how pretty it was.
I know BroDave. What was she thinking! We are buried in dumplings galore. I pass by a set of three dumpling shops in a row on my way to language school. I call them 'yum, yum, and yum.' Are E and S still reading our blog now that B is out of town?
